CSSHive arrived as a personal project for a fellow designer named Adam Roberts. Very much wanting his own CSS Showcase, he managed to get the idea on it is feet. We seen a huge potential here as a prime location for designers to grab new design inspirations. So we made him an offer and it was accepted.

We intend to take CSSHive further then Adam did. We have changed the design and the design elements for a more balanced approach to the site. We have had the whole site recoded as there were a few errors with the design implementations. We are now only accepting a few sites a day as we will be writing a mini review on each submitted site and they have to follow certain guide lines. We will be updating the blog as often as we can and also offering out awards for the site/sites of the month.
